Elwing Gao
Elwing is a Bay Area native and recent graduate of The Cooper Union (NYC). She is an artist, designer, bookmaker, fruit-muncher, and occasional songwriter. Her practice balances elegance with play (much like the spontaneous high kicks she is always breaking out) and draws inspiration from the natural world and her cultural heritage.
Open to freelance work and full-time positions.
2025 recipient of the Henry Dropkin Award for Excellence in Graphic Design from The Cooper Union.
